2.  Get Google Analytics And Harness the Power of Understanding Your Traffic:  Google Analytics is a completely free website statistics application that can help you understand your website’s visitors better than you had ever hoped.   Setting up Google analytics is as simple as pasting a little bit of code on your webpage.  It takes all of a few minutes for you to harness the power of this incredible website statistics application.

If you want to get serious about converting your traffic you need to fully understand your traffic.  Google analytics is your answer.

3.  Grab Traffic With Online Video:  Today video is playing a huge role online and unless you want to be behind your competitors you should not ignore it.  I am sure you have seen the huge video sites like YouTube, which can be used to drive traffic to your website. But did you know that Google is now allowing videos to appear in the organic search results?  What this means is that a video on your site or any video sharing site could rank in the Google search engine results for any given keyword, driving free traffic to your site.

For instance, let’s say you post a video review on YouTube for a product you sell.  If you select the right keywords, this video could easily rank in the Google organic search results and drive free traffic to your site.  The same could happen if you post the video on your own site.

4.  Build Relationships With Partners That Can Help You Succeed Online:  Do you know what most successful people online have in common?  Most of them have a network of partners that help them succeed with their online business.  These relationships sometimes are joint ventures, traffic sharing arrangements or just common groups of people that share best online business strategies together. 

With the online social web exploding, there has never been a better time to start building relationships and joint ventures online.  A few places to get started are facebook, myspace, and linkedin.  Also querying Google for potential business partners is another great option.

5.  Begin To Free Yourself From Your Online Business:  If you are like most online business entrepreneurs your goal is to free yourself from your business.  But in order to accomplish freedom from your business, you need to have documented business processes in place that can easily be transferred to employees, interns, or outsourced professionals. 

A great way to start building processes is to analyze your online business and find as many repeatable tasks as possible.  Then take these tasks and build solid step by step business processes that can easily be transferred to others.  The key to building business processes is making them easy to understand and documenting them visually.

Since you are operating an online business you will likely go through a few employees or interns overtime. Therefore, you want documented business processes that can easily be transferred from employee to employee with little effort and allow you to become free from your business.

For instance, some common processes for your online business may be your search engine optimization strategy, keyword research, updating your website’s product pages, or even finding affiliate partners to promote your products.

Once you have analyzed your business and found repeatable tasks, you can begin documenting the tasks into processes that can easily be transferred to employees, interns, or outsourced professionals.

Getting free website traffic from Myspace starts with setting up a profile.  On your profile page you should look to drive the traffic off Myspace to your website or preferably to a squeeze page where you can capture a name and email address. 

A great way to build your profile page is to offer a free download to an information product on your niche.  Then in order for viewers of your profile to download the product they have to click on a link in your Mysapce profile page, which leads them to your squeeze page off Myspace.

Once you have your profile page set up, you will next want to start adding friends.  Simply do a search for friends with your keywords.  For instance, if you are promoting an online marketing product, try searching for people with marketing in their profile. 

After you locate potential friends in your niche start adding as many friends as you can to your friends list.  It is my recommendation that you DO NOT use an automated friend adder unless you want your profile page deleted and all your work to go down the drain.

Once you build a friends list your next step is to respond to their profile with a comment.  If your friend’s comment section allows html you can leave a link back to your site.

After you are finished adding and commenting with friends, you should next focus on updating your Myspace blog.  In doing this be sure to ping your Myspace blog and submit it to the RSS directories to ensure it gets worked into the web.  Also try to apply some good content because this will help convince people your products are worth their while.

You will also want to check out Myspace groups and post in the forums.  One thing you should highly consider with groups is that the group leader has a ton of authority.  If you can build a relationship with a group leader and show the leader that your products are good then you can make a ton of money from Myspace groups.  When posting in the forum make sure you do not spam the groups.  Also watch out for forums that are just full of spam.  You do not want to waste your time posting in these forums.

The last tactic you will want to use for driving free website traffic from Myspace is to consider posting classifieds.  Like any other classified you post make it interesting and have a big catch headline.  For instance this might be a headline…. “Learn how A Nobody With No Internet Marketing Experience Earned $15,000 in 60 days”.
