@Ricky You can put the rel="nofollow" between the <a and the href such as: ... <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.yourCJlink.com">You anchor text</a>.

With CJ affiliate links. The link itself is rather long, especially if you encrypt, set the link to open a new window, and hide your tracking code. My question is exactly where do you add the rel="nofollow" tag in the code?

Thanks,

Jason #3, funny got that question twice today.

It is not a problem if your website does not have affiliate links from the home page. Simply follow the post and you can totally set it up on your site.

Step 1 - Create the redirect files for each affiliate link as shown in the post. Each affiliate link will have a redirect file. I recommend putting the redirect files in their own directory and blocking access to the directory via your robots.txt file. This will block the search engines from seeing your redirect affiliate links.

Step 2 - On your pages with affiliate links just make the affiliate link code I specified in the post instead of the actual CJ affiliate link (the keyword and Goolpms1 is the tracking code that will show what link is converting in your CJ report. If you have multiple links to the same affiliate offer you can change this code to track each link.) You will have to change the marketingsecrets.php to your redirect file as I show in the post..

Step 3: Follow the instructions in the post for setting up your pay per click campaign.

I hope that helps.

Also one thing I forgot to mention is on your affiliate link code if you want to prevent page rank leak, use a rel="nofollow".
