Life Values For New Internet Entrepreneurs Starting A Web Based Business

If you are a new Internet entrepreneur, I am creating this post to help you be successful.  There are tons of things for you to learn about for creating a successful business on the web.  Those things include search engine marketing, website traffic generation, list building, and copywriting just to name a few. 

But for this post do not worry about all those things. This post is more important to your success than all the individual areas you will need to eventually learn about.

The number 1 reason I see most web businesses fail is that the owner can not create enough momentum to realize initial success. 

Therefore, as a new internet business entrepreneur you need to be very aware of this to prevent your failure.  This post will cover several values that you should take very serious and make a part of your daily life!

1.  Get Serious About Your Time:  Do you track how much time you spend on various daily activities?  If not, you are setting yourself up for failure.  The web comes at you in a thousand different ways and can completely exhaust you with information overload.  The only way you can be sure you are not wasting time is to keep a very strict daily time log. Review this log at the end of each day to find improvement opportunities.

For instance, if you find you waste 2 hours daily solving technical issues with your website, you should highly consider if this is a wise use of your time.   You need to find your strengths and focus on those activities that match your strengths.  You can then outsource the activities that do not match your strengths which will help you gain momentum.

2.  Get Serious About What You Are Trying To Achieve:  If you do not have clearly document goals to what you’re trying to achieve with your web business, then you are going to have a real tough time creating enough momentum to be highly successful online. 

Pull out a journal and write out every fact about what you’re trying to achieve.  Be very specific so that you can feel what your life will be like when you achieve these goals. 

Many people think this step is very corny, I feel it is one of the most important steps for your success online. 

If you are having trouble with this step, try thinking about it this way.  What is the most challenging goal you ever achieved in your life?  Why did you achieve it?  Chances are you felt the passion in your heart and you were able to feel and live that passion everyday in your life until you achieved the goal.  This passion and feeling made you stay 100% focused until you were successful.  That is what “getting serious about what you are trying to achieve” is all about!

3.  Visualize, Taste and Believe In What You Are Trying To Achieve:  All new internet entrepreneurs will hit stumbling blocks.  But it is critical you do not let the stumbling blocks frustrate you and make you forget about what you are trying to achieve.  If there is one thing you do, never forget what you are trying to achieve.

Remain positive when you hit stumbling blocks and do not doubt yourself.  On a daily basis visualize what life will be like when you are successful and meet your goals.  Surround yourself with visual images or pictures you cut out of magazines that will constantly remind you of what you are going to achieve. 

Whatever you do, be sure not to worry about how you will achieve your goals or second guess yourself.  Just be able to feel, and taste what your life will be like when you achieve your goals.   If you know what you’re trying to achieve and you can visualize, feel and taste it on a daily basis you will find a way to achieve it. 

4.  Be Happy, Be Positive:  Without happiness and a positive attitude, you will have an extremely difficult time remaining passionate enough to reach what you are trying to achieve.

When I say happiness and a positive attitude, I mean it seriously.  Get down and dirty about your feelings and emotions on a daily basis.  Focus on surrounding yourself with the things in your life that bring you true happiness and make you feel good.  Cut out all negativity from your life even if it requires cutting out a close family member.  Surround yourself with positive people especially those that are more successful than you!

You can have no circumstances in your life that causes you to question what you are trying to achieve in your web business.
