		<description>I think that answering comments is the really great point on this list.  I really like when the author comes back and answers everyone&#039;s points and questions. 

I doesn&#039;t happen very often.  I know, I have about ten blogs that i read regularly and only one of them does this.  It&#039;s just a blog about that person&#039;s life so, yeah, they have a vested interest. 

Oh and Grizz, he answers, but I don&#039;t consider him &quot;just a blog&quot;.

I think more about increasing traffic rather than conversion rates.  Not that I don&#039;t consider conversions but, i spend much more time uping my SE ranking as opposed to the other.  Just me.</description>

I agree with all of your points, and would add to the list: understanding your traffic and the online communities it represents. Each visitor that comes to your site represents not only a potential customer or subscriber, but also a vast network of potential leads. By understanding your traffic and the communities it represents, you can leverage the networks it is linked to.
