You are totally right about getting links to your lens and targeting longer tail keywords. I have several Squidoo lenses that do a solid 4 figures a month in affiliate commission. I have focused pretty significantly on getting good quality links to these lenses, and while I have seen Google’s love hate relationship with Squidoo lenses, currently Yahoo is ranking them real well if you get some quality links to your lens. MSN has been a bit more difficult for getting my lenses to rank. The only downside to Squidoo is that it is hard to get others to link to your lens, so it really makes it a bit difficult. But if you work hard you can definitely get some good results with Squidoo. Hey Brent you definitely gained a new reader out of me.
