Why buy the Wishlist Member for your membership site?

Should you get the Wishlist Member for WordPress Membership Site Management?
Instead of detailing out WP Wishlist Member, let me begin by saying that it is excellent and I do use it. I run it on multiple Member websites and it is the fastest, easiest way to build a membership site and manage your members. This is especially true if you are proficient with WordPress as a publishing platform.
But do not buy it yet!
But Why? It has nothing to do with the WP Wishlist.
Instead, I want to tell you that setting up a membership website is harder than you probably realize. It takes time to develop the content and it takes time to market your membership site. You will find a lot of people on the web talking about what a great business model it is and how easy it is. Don’t believe everything you hear abut membership sites. It is not easy to set up a membership site, market the membership site, manage the members of the membership site and add fresh content to the membership site on a regular basis.
If you were making $10,000 a month on your membership site it would be easy. But what are you going to do if you are making $250 a month after six months? Are you going to keep at it long term or quit? You certainly cannot hire people much more content and marketing.
If you are serious about publishing a Private Membership Site, then you need to worry as little as possible about the technology. I spent months using 5 different technologies before finding WP Wishlist Member. I used Moodle, Ning, Drupal, Joomla and the Free Membership Pluging for WordPress before I got WP Wishlist and simplified my life. Buy WP Wishlist Member and Professional Shopping Cart and set it up. Then forget about the technology and focus on great content and marketing your membership site like a madman.
As I mentioned, WP Wishlist was my 6th membership site software solution I tried before I finally found something I could work with. I tried free membership site tools and other paid membership site options – and Wishlist Member was the simplest and let me forget about the management of membership and content.
Had I used Wishlist first, I would have been able to start doing more marketing six months earlier and made a lot more money. It is critical to keep as much of your time free for marketing and content as possible.
Another outstanding benefit is that I bought the muli-site license and now I can launch a membership site in a matter of an hour or less. This means I can toss together a great bonus any time I need to. I use it as an upsell for several different products and programs and it costs me nothing extra.
