People goes away almost immediately, when they have no idea what you’re offering.

The headline is the most important aspect of your landing page. It can either attracts or repels your visitors. Your headline must capture the emotions of your readers in order to get them to read further. Use your headline to display to biggest benefits your visitors are looking for, but also make them simple and easy to understand.

Another important key to successful landing page optimization is product benefits. You start by going through all the benefits and write down the major ones. Then use the benefits to tell them how great their lives will be, after using the product. And you must tell it in such a way that touches their emotions. When they are clear about the benefits, you are more likely to buy from you.

Do not confuse product benefits with features, they are two entirely different things. Features are about what the product does and benefits are the things that your client gets when he use your product. So, to improve your closing rate, focus on benefits more than features.

Have Clean and Professional Website

How your website looks can also make or break your success, so never build a sloppy website. Your visitors are more likely to trust you and buy from you, if your website looks professional. Here are some tips to get your website looking clean and professional:

  • Text size between 10 to 14 in Verdana or Arial Fonts
  • Have background in brighter colour and text in darker colour
  • Use 3 columns page
  • Don’t change your link colour, keep them in standard blue
  • Your landing page must have the images of your product
  • Thoroughly edit the page’s content for any grammatical or spelling errors

There are thousands of affiliate landing pages, but most of them are poorly optimized. This is why they don’t make money and many affiliates still wonder why.
